Polo
Nope - it's played on grass - with a mallet and ball. You hit the ball around a short course - knocking it through a series of hoops.
with the little ball and mallet it's called polo...hit the ball with the mallet into the goal.another alternative as per wiki : "Buzkashi or kokpar is the Central Asian sport in which horse-mounted players attempt to drag a goat carcass toward a goal."
NO "part" you use a bat ...
A very popular alternitive to a bat mallet is a cricket ball in a sock, i know it sounds strange but this is how many cricket knock in and prepare their bat. Put the ball in the sock and grab the sock just above the ball leaving a gap so it can swing round. Then just start to hit the same spot and it works just like a bat mallet :)
In croquet, Newton's third law applies when a player strikes their ball with the mallet. When the mallet pushes on the ball (action), the ball exerts an equal and opposite force back onto the mallet (reaction), causing the ball to move in the opposite direction. This law governs the transfer of momentum between the mallet and the ball in the game of croquet.
croquet Mallet
No. Runner is part of the field, therefor the ball is in play and the runner is out.
knock it in with a mallet usually around 8 hours of knocking it in will do the trick
