I have a loaded Dervish, and I have been enjoying my Randall II 180mm trucks for a while. There is no rattle and they are heavy duty and reliable. My friend's new board came with Paris trucks, and out of the box, they where rattling. For heavy duty reliable trucks that wont break the bank, Randall's are best.
They should last 100,000 miles.
try to keep it clean and if you need to buy new bearings, board, deck, trucks and learn new tricks and have fun
if you start out plain you pick out a deck you want. get it gripped up and then your gonna need some hardware and trucks you want for your board. put the trucks on the bottom of the board and fasten the hardware in as well, tighten til you think its perfect. the grab some wheels and bearings put the bearings in the wheels and screw the wheels onto the trucks. when that's finished go hit up the streets on your new board.

Most semi trucks are able to do long hauling. You should choose a relatively new truck that fits your budget.
Used cars and trucks are usually a better deal than new trucks, which depreciate instantly. However, if they are too cheap, beware of serious problems that could cost you a fortune in repairs.

Why would you want to turn a freebord into a longboard? Anyway, you can turn a freebord into a longboard by removing the baseplate, buy a new longboard baseplate and truck, however, if you find a baseplate with the correct specs for the sizes and rubbers it would be possible to use the freebord trucks. However the trucks are too long for a longboard, unless you like sliding, deep curves and Uncontrollable speed :) Hope i helped :)
