Wushu is the sport version of kung fu that has been codified by the Chinese. Karate is an Okinawa martial art that was created by combining kung fu and Okinawa wrestling.
There are not many karate schools in China. The government there promotes Wushu. Karate is Japanese and the history between the two countries is not good.
Wushu, which is a part of Kung Fu, And Karate
There is no 'Chinese Karate.' There are Chinese martial arts, some of which served as a basis for the creation of karate. The Chinese practice Kung Fu, Wushu and Tai Chi Chuan as the primary arts. White Crane Kung Fu served as one of the sources for what is now called karate.
There are many sports that are won by tournaments specifically in the case of martial arts like karate, judo, wushu and taekwondo.

Perhaps. It may be included as the 'extra' sport, but it has tough competition. Wrestling, baseball/softball, karate, roller sports, sport climbing, squash, wakeboarding and wushu are all competing for that last slot. Karate has never been in the Olympics, the biggest reason being a lack of an overall governing body with a single set of rules.
Turkish Wushu Federation was created in 2006.
