A Mickey Mantle signed 8 x 10 photo sells for about $150.-$300. Price will vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. A color photo as opposed to a black & White photo is not important as composition, and appeal. Part of the value will be determined by how well the photo displays the signature. The type of ink used, and how it stands out in contrast to the photograph will also effect the price. Sharpie would be most preferred for a photo. Larger 16 x 20 photos will sell for more.

Mickey Mantle signed a lot of Autographs. One of the most sought after signatures, there are also a lot of fakes on the market. The numbers are alarming. This is why to get top dollar for an autograph it should be properly authenticated. Signatures that are not properly authenticated could sell at half the market value

If the photo is dated by Mickey Mantle or inscribed "1956" it would be worth more. Personal inscriptions like "Good Luck Chuck" will sell for less. If the photo is dated to 1956, only if it is from the ordinal negative will it add value. If the Photo was taken in 1956 and is a second generation photo it would be more desired.

Photo number 19 of 536 would only add extra value if there were only 536 Mickey Mantle signed photos in existence. Mickey Mantle signed often and signed more than his share of photos. This 19/536 limited edition is nothing more than a marketing ploy by a promoter selling autographs. The limited edition would be no higher in value than another 16 x 20 photo with equal eye appeal.

The notarized certificate of authenticity was new, and growing in popularity just before The Upper-Deck company introduced their hologram authenticity system. The trust of the collector in the authenticator of the signature holds a big part on how high of a value the signature sells for. The notarized authenticity might hold some weight but I do not think it would compete in price with The Upper-Deck authenticated items, that Mantle was under contract with before his passing. Third party authenticators like PSA/DNA or James Spence might also sell at a higher price.
