It's been awhile since I've seen a Mickey Mantle 500 Home Run newspaper. The last one that I remember seeing was selling for about $60. and in excellent - Near/Mint condition could sell for more than $100. The home town New York Daily News would be the most preferred. A full paper would be of the highest value, the cover would be next, and an article would be the lowest. The more complete the newspaper the more valuable.

Because of the low quality paper used newspapers do not sell at high price. Browning, rips, and creases will lower the price significantly. I have a Framed 1927 World Series Newspaper headline. Every time I handle the paper (to frame it) I would lose little flakes of paper off the edges.

The Newspaper clipping you have (with a picture) might sell in the $10.- $15. price range, and if it is well preserved, and displays well it could sell for more. With no picture $5. might be the limit, and the size of the clipping will be a factor.

The value of a newspaper clipping of Mickey Mantle's 500th home run can vary depending on its condition, rarity, and demand from collectors. Typically, such items can range from $20 to $100 or more, but it's best to consult with a Sports Memorabilia expert or check recent sales of similar items to get a more accurate valuation.
