you would be looking around the 1.5 million mark
About $50, assuming you have the original case and certificate of authenticity.
A genuine silver coin produced by the Royal Mint will be in protective packaging indicating what the coin is made from. It should also include a certificate of authenticity.
You need to be a bit more specific. There are no US government issued silver certificates made since the suspension of the silver standard in 1964.There may be private mints and storage companies that do provide silver certificates (for example, you place one silver dollar in storage and they give you a certificate that promises to pay one silver dollar to whoever redeems that certificate in the future. These certificates, if valid, would be worth what one silver dollar is worth (minus perhaps the fees to actually obtain physical possession of that silver dollar)Or perhaps you are referring to a certificate of authenticity for a 2008 silver eagle. If this is just a certificate of authenticity for a 2008 dated coin, it is nearly worthless without the coin. With the coin it might add a couple of cents to a dollar to its value, but just the piece of paper itself would be worth about 2-3 cents.
No general circulation British coin contains any silver. If you have any modern British coin with a silver content, it will say so on the packaging it was sold in. This will include the percentage of silver and very possibly, a "certificate of authenticity".
How much is a 1957a silver certificate worth?
It's not a Federal Reserve note, and the certificate of "authenticity" is worth roughly the paper it's printed on. It's a privately-manufactured item sold for its metal value. You'd need to know how much silver it contains, how pure it is, and the current price of silver bullion (see a site such as kitco.com for prices). Multiply the weight by the purity and by the price of silver, then take off about 40 to 50 percent to get an idea of what a metal dealer would pay.
Johnny Bench .999 silver coins can be found for sale online starting at $68.00. If unopened, it will come with a certificate of authenticity. Some sell for as much as $129.00 on large auctions sites.
The official Micheal Jordan 1991 highland mint bronze coin is currentley priced at $850.00 u.s. If the coin is in the original Highland Mint box with record of authenticity and player card it is priced at $2,000 u.s. The 4.25 Ounce Bronze Card is even better. But not as good as the even rarer Silver Card.
The "certificate of authenticity" wasn't from the Mint. It's really only worth the paper it's printed on because 1962 halves are quite common among collectors and the likelihood of counterfeiting is minuscule. However, the coin itself is worth something because of its silver content. Please see the Related Question.
The silver certificate and the gold certificate were replaced by the Federal Reserve Dollar.
A silver certificate is a US banknote (bill) that could be redeemed for an equivalent amount of silver. Please see the question "What is a silver certificate?" for a much more detailed explanation.
