As each player is a position specialist its difficult for anyone player to considered the "best" This is because in Rugby every position is fully reliant on the other to help gain possession of the ball and then get that ball, to the opposing teams goal line
Each player can only hit the ball once in a row.

A basketball match has 5 players from each team at a time on the court. In the centre ring, a player from each team will begin in 'jump ball'. This means that an umpire will throw a ball up and the player doing jump ball will try to tap the ball in the air to a player from their own team. This is how it begins.
once
The player who tackles the player with the ball will be credited. If 2 people tackle the player with the ball at the same time they will each be credited with 1/2 a tackle.
Each position is very important on the field. The short stop is most important because most balls are hit toward them so that position should contain the most intelligent and best player. All the players should be able to catch, throw, and all the other obvious ways just in case the ball is hit to them. There is any chance the ball will go everywhere so make sure you have good players in all positions at all times.
The referees do not choose. It is as if it where the beginning of the game and a player from each team tips the ball.
65
The order in which players serve. The position each player has when the play begins.
Each team gets in a straight line facing the same direction as the first player. The team attempts to roll the ball from the front to the back of the line under each player's legs then the person at the back of the line grabs the ball, runs to the front and the process starts again.
Basketball games are started with the opening tip, which is a jump ball. In some competitions, a jump ball is also used to settle held balls (jointly held) and penalty possessions. In others, the alternating possession rule is used.
