US
The US won a total of 37 medals, beating Germany for the record of most medals won by any country in any winter Olympic games.
The US won 10 gold medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
The US won 9 gold medals in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
the us won 13 bronze medals..
In the 2010 Winter games the United States has won 27 medals
There is no "winning country" in the Olympics. The games celebrate human achievement not national achievement. That being said, the US has won the most medals overall in all of the Olympics, Canada may well have won the most Gold Medals in a Winter Olympics and the US may well have won the most medals of any type in any of the Winter Olympics. I don't know which country has won the most Golds and most medals overall in the Summer Olympics.
In 47 games the USA has won 2652 Medals 2401 at the 26 summer Olympics games and 253 at the 21 Winter Games. Norway leads for total medals with 303 medals at the winter Olympics otherwise the USA has won the most medals
In the past five Winter Olympics, the US has won 122 medals: 2010 - 37 medals; 2006 - 25 medals; 2002 - 34 medals; 1998 - 13 medals; 1994 - 13 medals.
The US won 9 gold medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
The United States won a record 37 medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics: 9 gold, 15 silver and 13 bronze.
