∙ 12y agoThe objective of a linebacker depends on the coverage that linebacker is in. If it is a blitz package, the linebacker will rush the line. If the linebacker is in a zone coverage he will guard any receiver who enters his zone. If the linebacker is in man coverage, he will guard one specific receiver.
