There is no difference between Golf balls that amateurs and professionals use. Yes you could say that professionals only use the high end golf balls, whereas amateurs use any ball they buy. The professionals may have their name, a sponsors logo or special numbers on the ball. But in terms of playability there is no difference.
I believe the difference in the two balls is the bounce.

Mikasa is simply more used and more professional. other than that they're about the same.
Dicks and balls
When I was younger I played against David in a amateur match and he kicked me in the balls, so that's two, I don't know if he has caught anyone else since though.
There is no difference between the cue ball and billiard ball except that the cue ball is white and without significant markings.
