It depends how well they are able to adjust to the height difference, if they're taller, it will be easier. I have seen times range from 2 seconds slower to 1 second faster when transitioning to college height.

How far apart are the hurdles in the 300 meter hurdle race?

The distance between 300 Hurdles (or 400 Hurdles) is 35 meters. The distance to the first hurdle (in high school races) is 45 meters and 10 meters from the last (8th) hurdle to the finish line. This is exactly the same as the first 300 meters of a 400 Hurdle race, though the relative position on the track is moved to finish at the common finish line. what is a 13 year old average time for 100 meters hurdles?

Well mine is 14.00s and was the first time I had done hurdles, normally a high jumper or 100m-200m sprinter. Been told by my teachers I should focus on 100m-110m Hurdles now though. Sorry if this isn't much help, I don't know the average times for 100m hurdles only my own.
