NL 40

AL 38

Ties 2

The AL has won the last 12 years. << not quite accurate.

The AL hasn't "lost" in 13 games.

There was a tie in 2002 which brings their consecutive actual wins to 7. You can't credit anyone with constitutive wins or loses if there's a tie. Which is why the AL and their fans adopted the term "undefeated" after the 2002 game.

The NL has the most consecutive actual/factual wins record at 11 games, from 1972 to 1982.

Current record as of 07/11/2012:

NL 43

AL 38

Ties 2
