like 7flat or 6.50. so if you run a 5.90 your fast, you run a 6.50 your slightly fast, 7.20 or 7flat that's average. 8 you need improvments
i think that 7 is slow for a freshman im an incoming freshman 6 2 about 200 and run a 5.3
I am not sure of the average time for a 12 yr old BOY...., I do remember well when I was a 12 yr old boy and in the 6th grade at Garfield grade school in 1963.... I ran a 6.1.... 50 yrd dash and felt so really good about my time and so did my P.E. teacher....then very soon after me.... my best friend in the same class as mine..... ran a 5.9 and he beat me!.....I was so disappointed, however I do recall this particularly well : we then slapped each other on the back and just laughed hard about it...and that is what best friends do....and that was now 55+ yrs ago.....and I remember it like it was just yesterday. He and I soon after played on many sports teams together from Junior High School all the way through Senior High School together and I was fortunate and talented enough to receive a Baseball scholarship to Arizona State. Very cherished memories...ones I never have forgotten
It all depends on your size I'd guess.
I'd say probably a 4.6 for someone who's more of an athletic build.
I'd also say 5.1 for someone of a lineman build.
It truly is determined on how athletic you are, yet the average is 15-25 seconds
Fast - 5.5 seconds
Very fast - 5.0 sec.
Pro's speed < 5.0 sec.
My 14 year son runs the 50 yards dash in 5.3 seconds
Not your time... LOL
2.6 seconds
I'm 55-1/2 years old and I ran the dash this morning in 17 seconds.
15 t0 20ish
it depends on the age group. 15 seconds is a decent time for a grade school 100 meter dash, but it would be a decent time for a high school 200 meter dash.
high fourties
Average time for a 13 year old girl running a fifty yard dash is between 17-19 seconds. However, it depends on the physique and stamina of a person. If you are doing anything lower than 13 seconds, you might just get to run in national games.
usian bolt's 40yd dash time is 4.38. and if your running a 4.9 that is considered quite good. Now if your doing a 60yd a real good time is 6.7. a good time is 7 and so on and so on.
Thats about a 13.60 in a 100 meter. That's a very good time without any training.
You could get a rough estimate by dividing by 60, and multiplying by 55. However, you can't really convert from one to the other, because the human body doesn't work that way.
its alright
around 30 seconds
Yes
1min 10secs should be a good time
