Yes you can! Especially since it's aluminum... I recommend a composite bat though. Composite bats have way more pop than aluminum bats. I would recommend the cf3 or cf4 for a new bat. Or try the stealth!

The stealth IMX 2 1/4 barrel i have a 31 inch 20 oz. and when you connect with a fastball it goes for a long ride. The cnt's are known to shatter on the inside. My step- brother has a 31/21 and it is aluminum and it had more pop when he bought it then it does now. He regrets not buying the IMX because it is 100% composite and how long the pop stays in it. I got mine brand new for 210$ and it works amazing! People on my baseball team have Demarinis CF3's and CF4's 2 5/8 and they dont have the pop my bat does.
