I'd say a metal bat because wood would absorb more energy than metal.

∙ 12y agoA metal bat hits the ball further than a wooden bat because metal is harder than wood.
Since momentum equals mass times velocity, the metal ball's momentum is 2N/s (Newton seconds).
Metal most definitely, hence why Metal bats are not used beyond the college level. MLB studs are far too powerful to use anything but Wooden bats.
its soooooo metal. it vibrates if its fast piched because it is flexible, the wood will braek because it is not. & it is also hollow and as the ball hits it the ball makes it vibrate.
metal
metal because lightning hits metal mostly
aluminum bat
a wooden bat hits better becaue the way a mental bat hits it has that loud hit and the louder it is the farter is will go
because a metal bat has give so when the ball hits it the bat flex's and the ball slings off harder
Aluminum bats hit the ball farther. Every study that has been done on this issue has concluded that aluminum bats out perform wooden bats. The ball leaves the bat at a higher speed and travels farther.
Hi I am a girl and my brothers play all the time! So trust my answer: Wooden: A wooden bat will not hit as far as a metal bat because of 2 reasons. One is that they brake very easy. The other reason is that wood has a weaker effect than metal. Metal: A metal bat is most trusted everywhere. Metal is so strong. When something hits off metal, it will go very very far! Mostly my brothers use Nike or a Combat. Hope this helps! Contact me any time on my email with any questions. Kiera303
The spring hits the ball with an action, and the ball hits the spring with an equal but opposite reaction. Since the ball has more momentum, it moves faster.
