The opposing team is awarded a free pass.
if you use incorrect footwork in netball, your opponant will be awarded a free pass! :)
its a rule
In netball if the umpire/ref calls footwork, the game stops and the other team is handed the ball. Although you do not have to stand down or next to the player of the other team =) hope this helps
perform a number of drills and practise
Free pass to other team
Free pass to the non-offending team.
girls/boys usually wear covered in runners.... that are comfortable and practical :)
Because if you catch a ball that you have had to jump for and then you have to do footwork when you land, you need to be balanced otherwise you will mess up your footwork and it will then be a free pass to the opponents.
A free pass would be given, to the other team. The player who commited the footwork, would not have to stand by her side.
the coach would watch out for footwork, contact, off side and stuff like that.
a free pass is awarded if you move when holding the ball or do the wrong footwork
Because doing footwork is a foul, so the opposition gets a free pass. The umpire has to blow the whistle to stop the other players continuing.
