The Goal Defence (GD) in netball is on the Goal Attack (GA). The GD position is to defend the ball and try to get as many turnovers as possible and defend the GA when she has a shot a goal.
In netball if you are WA or GA, attacking is just basically like defending its just a name for the position. you dont actually attack but, you ave to stand 3 feet from the person you're defending other wise it is called up for obstruction!
