The standard athletics track is 400m. So a 5000 meter race would be 12 and a half times around it.
11.37 would be for 100 meters.
not sure what you mean by this, but if you mean the Olympics, they race on a 2000 meter course, the world standard. i know in the u.s. scholastic teams (high schools and some colleges) race on a 1500 meter race course. that's about as short as it gets though
Depends on the track. If it is a standard 400 meter track, it will be eight laps. If it is indoors it will be about thirteen.
A hundred-meter race
The 100 meter race started in the 1896 Olympics.
The 220 yard race has been replaced with the 200 meter race although it is about 222 yards long; the 440 yard race has been replaced with the 400 meter race; and the 1,500 meter race has replaced the mile.
You would hurdle 5 . (not jump) !
Well that would depend on the year...
In the Womens' 100 Meter Hurdle Race and the Men's 110 Meter Hurdle Race, there are 10 hurdles. In the 300 Meter Hurdle Run, there are 8 hurdles. In the 400 Meter Hurdle Run, there are 10 hurdles.
cut the time down by 33.3%
you would have to hurdle over 10 hurdles
i would have to say it is the steeplechase...it is a 3000 meter race, in which you have clear 28 ordinary barriers, and 7 water jumps
its a race that's 400m long .
There are many foot races for men and women in the Olympics. Some of these include the 100 meter race, the 200 meter, the 400 meter, the 1 mile race, and the 5,000 kilometer race.
middle distance is like a race that is not short or long like a 1000 meter or 2000 meter race would be middle distance a long distance race would probably be more than 4000 meters ultra distance is when the races take hours, days and even months
A 70K race would be a race that is 43 miles long. A standard marathon race is 26.2 miles long. There are not very many races that are over 26.2 miles for running.
Sorry, you have to be the fastest runner to win the 100 meter race.
2 and 3/4
4k (kilometers) = 2.48548477 miles and 3200 meters = 1.98838782 miles. So, a 4k race is about 1/2 of a mile farther than a 3200 meter race.
A 100 meter race is how many yards? 1 yard = .9144
200 meter hurdles, 400 meter hurdles, 3000 meter steeplechase
2.29 meters per second.
