First and Home are the only bases you can over run, if you over run second or third you could get out.
The only base that can be over run without fear of being tagged out in softball like in baseball is 1st base. But also of course you can over run home base.
when someone hits the softball and and the person on first, second, and third base has to run tothe next base

First base is the base you run to after you hit the ball.
after you hit the ball, you run to first base and you are a baserunner..
A run in softball is when a base runner makes it safely around the bases and touches home plate. The team the runner is for is then given a point, also known as a run.
when theres a base runner on a base.. the batter hits the softball and trys to get to a base while the base runner at 3rd or 2nd run home and get a point
A steal is when you run from one base to another when the pitcher is pitching.
when someone hits the ball and it is caught, the runner(s) on base can "tag" the base they are on once it is caught and then run to the next base. If they tag 3rd base and run home to score it is the tag run.
In softball a run is when you score.
Wait for the pitcher to throw the ball home then run for the next base.
