there are many rules in shooting. here are some (if righthanded):
-elbow and knee are in one straight line
-bend legs
-straighten back
-put ball right under your right eye
-put left hand on the side of the ball
-put right foot out a little bit more than left
-ALWAYS LOOK AT THE BASKET!!!
-extend in one motion while releasing the ball
-have a follow through (after you shoot your hand should look like its in the cookie jar)
-always believe it is going in
by shooting the ball into the goal, or "cage"
you could use a technique called whole-part-whole, this is where they try the whole skill(in this case passing or shooting)& then identify where they are going wrong and practice with simple passing back and forth to team members or shooting into an empty goal to get them used to hitting the ball before actually playing again, and then try the whole skill again to see how they have improved.
No, you're not allowed to move with the ball
NO
A field goal (kicking the ball through the uprights at the end of the field) is worth 3 points in American football. There is no "point after" attempt for a field goal. In contrast, a touchdown (carrying the ball past the goal line) is worth 6 points and allows an attempt for an additional point after touchdown, which closely resembles a field goal.
No all the shooting is left to the goal shoot and goal attack
In Jordan's final game, he played 28 minutes and scored 15 points on 6 for 15 field goal shooting and 3 for 4 free throw shooting. He grabbed four rebounds.
