There are many risks players take stepping on the ice and playing the game of Ice Hockey. Players can get concussions, broken bones, cuts from skates, etc. I'm a 13 year old girl and i play ice hockey. I did a report on ice hockey and you can get seriously hurt. Girls hockey is different though. In boys hockey you can fight. in girls you cant. People might say boys can get hurt easier because they can hit and fight, but really either gender you can get hurt the same.

Well let's see..... You can get smashed into the glass by some else, fall/trip, take a hockey stick to the face, get into a fight with some else (you know how that works), or you could fall and get cut by someone else's hockey skate (which is really really bad and extremely rare)

Is field hockey a hard sport to play?

Person 1 Field hockey is just as hard as any sport, it all depends on the amount of dedication you put into it. Person 2 I've played some field hockey and a lot of ice hockey, and I found field hockey much harder. For one thing, it is unfair to those of us who are left shots. Because of the types of sticks in field hockey, we all had to shoot right. Also, a ball on grass is much harder to handle than a puck on ice. I didn't enjoy playing field hockey at all.
