PCIe 2.0 slots provide a maximum power supply of 75 watts per slot. This is typically sufficient for most expansion cards, such as graphics cards and network cards. The power is delivered through the slot itself, with the standard configuration allowing for a maximum of 25 watts from the motherboard and an additional 50 watts from the 6-pin or 8-pin auxiliary power connectors for high-performance cards.
There are 1000 watts in one kW. So 1.89 x 1000 = 1890watts. To go the other way changing watts to kW you divide watts by 1000. 1890/1000 = 1.89 kW.
25 Watts I depends entirely on the card you use in the slot. For example, in graphics cards can require 500 watts at times, whilst a sound card may require much less.
Anywhere from 750 to 100 watts if they are high-end video cards, like a NVIDIA 460 or ATI 6870.
In electrical terms, 1 horsepower (HP) is equal to approximately 746 watts.
