If you want to go onto pointe you have to have strong ankles, calves, thighs and abdominals. You have to have a good arch in your foot to. If you are naturally flat footed don't worry they have shoes that will fit you. Just keep working on your arch. You also have to have a professional or teacher's permission to get on pointe. Pointe can cause serious injury if your not ready. Also you have to have a certain amount of ballet training depending on how strong you are. Some take a year some take 2 some take 6 some take 20 to 30 some never go on pointe it just depends on the person. But if you are flat footed you may have more trouble on pointe.
