That was 1995, Bettis' third season in the NFL and his final season with the Rams. He gained 637 yards on 183 carries that season. He was traded to the Steelers on draft day (1996) and went on to have 6 straight 1,000 yards seasons (1996-2001) with them, his best being 1,665 yards in 1997.
