I dont know it at all
the area between the bases and home plate is called the base path.

A trapezoid does not have three bases!
a hot plate,a oven area, and three nobs
Basically, triangles have 3 bases. Unless you want to calculate the area of the triangle(which requires the height), triangles have three bases.
the formulas for lateral area dont include the figures bases. surface area does.
strike zone
surface area of glass plate
add up the 2 bases(the parallel sides), divide them by 2 then multiply by the distance between the 2 bases.
If you drew a line from home plate to first base, first base to second base, second base to third base, and third base to home plate, you would have a square. This is because the distance between those bases is the same (90 feet). A square turned on its side is a diamond.
Base * Vertical distance between bases (height).
