Nobody does, given that players almost never get hit in the groin, although if you think that you need to then you are fully permitted to.
The above answer is rigtht about the fact that nobody wears a cup but in my last 6 years of playing Rugby i have been tagged and hit in the ball 14 times and i have friends that get hit even more than that i know a guy who is lucky if he doesnt get hit in the balls once in a game so players get hit in the groin more often than thought about it just isn't noticed.
The answer is no, you don't need to and really shouldn't. You will get hit there, but you won't damage anything there without wearing a cup. Most of the time it will be an inadvertent leg or arm or something. I've been playing rugby for quite a few years and I've never walked away from the game wishing I had been wearing a cup, so I think you'll be perfectly safe without one.
I would recommend wearing one because rugby is a full contact sport, and "stuff" happens, i know some one who played rugby and his gonads were stepped on at full stride, when he was on the ground, it only took me that one story to wear one when i play.
No because they don't need it!
If you think there is a chance that you could get hit hard in the testicles, then yes. It really depends on the type of sport and position played. In any sport involving sticks or fast moving items like balls and pucks males should be wearing a cup.
Yes Always wear a protective cup because you could get hurt in you testicle that is the number 1 boys are supposed to take care because that area is really important even if you play sports wear a protective cup so you don"t get Hirt in the most important thing in boys body. You could loose testicle. If you get hurt in the private report it to the doctors so you could get medcine or you might get surgery and you could loose one
A cup wouldn't be needed for track. A jockstrap would be a good idea though, as it keeps your genitals in place while you run.
well you could get hit in the balls and that would hurt haha anyways it depends on what sport youre playing and it is very important to keep the groin area safe and pretected

If you are playing a sport where groin injury is a possibility, then you should always wear a cup during practice and competition. This has nothing to do with age, and everything to do with preventing an accident.

Depends , but if it is a cup bra, no. Usually when kids start to wear bras they wear sports bras, so that's what they should sleep in.
A cup is better worn than a plate. Good luck. Defense!
If your bra makes it hard to breath in, you should wear a larger band size bra. If your boobs don't fit in the cups of your bra, you should wear a larger cup size.
i think he should put track clothes on, maybe some jackets, but also a football T-shirt is not bad. He should wear sneakers, track pants, jeans or bermudas.
I wear my jock and cup over my compression shorts. My compression shorts have a contour pouch that keeps my junk contained, so it stays under the cup. The above answer is totally incorrect! You should wear your compression shorts over your cup-jockstrap so that the compression shorts hold your cup tight against your body! If you wear your cup over your compression shorts, your cup might not fit tight to your body and a blow there could just slam the cup against your testicles, causing pain and possible injury. Some cup-jockstraps do not hold the cup firmly in place against the body.
There is a crotch strap used for diving that should be protective. Check in with the experts.
Yes you should. A hard cup should be worn during baseball to prevent injury.
10 year old girls are not really supposed to be wearing any kind of cup size. It's best to wear training bras or sports bras...But if a 10 year old were to wear a cup size it would probably be a 32AA...11,12 and further that's when you really start to wear a cup size.
