Confusingly-phrased question, but I'll answer it in the two ways I can interpret it:
(since 1954)
Most base hits in a game by one team: 31, Milwaukee Brewers, 8/28/1992
Most bases hit in a game by one team(i.e., total bases): 58, Montreal Expos, 7/30/1978

You use a baseball to play the game baseball. If you really look at the name you see the first part of the word is base. In the game of baseball you run the bases every time you get a hit.
your name is a word your parents give you and a baseball is a ball your hit with a bat or a game you play with 4 bases a ball and a bat
i'd say about 3/4 of the game. you have to run when you feild, run when you hit, and obviously run when you steal bases
The MLB record for stolen bases in a game is 7 by George Gore of the Chicago White Stockings in 1881 and Billy Hamilton of the Philadelphia Phillies in 1894.
