Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are banned at most public swimming pools. It is more of a "rule" not a law.
Copper Sulphate is banned in most states. Very toxic stuff. Return the product to the store and get something less toxic and easier to use and that is adequate for the job. Such as Yellow Out or Yellow Treat. Both good products for a green pool.

The standard competition length is 25 meters long with usually 6 lanes, which is why racing distances are measured in increments of 25. There are some pools that are 50 meters. They are called Olympic sized pools (because that is the type used in the summer Olympics) but for most competitive swimmers, 25 meters is standard. If you aren't talking about racing however, feel free to make your outdoor pool as long or short as you want!
A horse racing jackpot refers to a large, often progressive prize pool that accumulates over time in horse racing betting, typically linked to specific types of wagers like Pick 6 or Pick 4 bets. If no bettor selects the winning combination, the jackpot may roll over to the next race day, increasing the potential payout. These jackpots can attract significant interest and betting activity, as they offer the chance for substantial winnings. The structure and rules can vary by racing venue and jurisdiction.

To determine the number of laps that equal a mile in a 20' x 40' swimming pool, we first need to calculate the pool's total length. The perimeter of the pool is 2(20' + 40') = 120 feet. Since there are 5,280 feet in a mile, we divide 5,280 by 120 to get 44. Thus, you would need to swim 44 laps in a 20' x 40' pool to complete a mile.
