It is like most skills we need to learn as we go through life:

Some aspects are easy enough, and we have had previous experience with them.

Other parts of the game can be more difficult for many to learn and execute.

Not always,if you have the strength to run fast and control the ball with your feet. Tryouts for high school may be challenging like running 2 miles in less than 14 minutes and a lot of scrimmage so the coach can look at more experienced players but they also what to see the ones who work hard and don't give up. They will e looking for your experience in passing, kicking, running, defense, and attitude.

Soccer is no harder than any other sport, and a lot easier than most, to get the basics of - many start playing soccer before they are 10. After that it just takes practise.
