I am under the assumption that the fielder must come down with the ball in fair territory for this to be an out. If he catches the ball while he is jumping over the fence and lands out of the playing area then it is a home run.
Correct or Incorrect?
no

When Jem goes to put a note on the Radley house, he loses his pants while he is running. They get caught in the fence and when he goes back to get them, they are folded on top of the fence.
It is a Home Run.

There are similar questions here already that have been answered. No, if the ball bounces in fair territory and then goes over the fence, it is a ground rule double.
Whoever gets to the ball first. :-) A backward pass (i.e., a lateral) that is not caught is a live ball, and any player from either team may recover it. If it goes out of bounds, the ball is spotted at that point.

If a baserunner goes back and touches/or stands (this is called 'tagging up') on the base the they started on after the ball is caught he can then advance to the next base(s). If you do not go back and 'tag' the base after the ball is caught, the defensive team can throw the ball to the base you started on and you will be out
Th ball turns and goes to one side !
Jem's pants get caught in the fence to Boo's yard while trying to escape
