It's doubtful. American football -- or the National Football League -- is by far the most popular sport in the nation. On February 7, 2010, the NFL Championship Game -- also known as the Super Bowl -- was the most-watched program in the history of American television.
Football -- also known as soccer -- is becoming more popular in America, and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa certainly drew interest here. But American football should remain supreme for years to come.
