A cheerleaders role is to be a positive influence for people of your school and support your team whether they are losing or winning. As a cheerleader ,you are always seen as inflence. The role of all star cheerleaders is slightly different. They represent the sport that cheerleaders is. It is like any other sport that people do. People play softball or basketball because they love the sport ,and that
They entertain, well that what my cheer coach tells me. It depends what sport your cheering for. ------------------------------------------------------- Cheerleaders root on teams at games. it is also a challenging and competitive sport that some people enjoy.
I believe that it would be basketball and football
It depends, if you love the sport and love your squad, then yeah!
Cheerleaders started cheering for basketball teams when they needed practice. Then when the people watched them at half time they enjoyed it alot, So the cheerleaders would do it all for the people and the sport of it. Though many don't consider it one, yes, cheerleading is a professional sport- NFL football teams have cheerleaders. Also, there are many levels of competition in cheerleading- there's a Worlds competition for all-star cheerleaders and a Nationals competition for highschool cheerleaders.
No, that`s only in movies.
The stereotype that all cheerleaders are mean, comes form school cheerleaders, who are often viewed as the 'popular girls.' Cheerleaders like this give the sport a bad name, and are what cause people to think cheerleaders are stupid, and that cheering isn't a sport. But not all cheerleaders are mean. I cheer All-Star and 98% of the girls at my gym are total sweethearts. All-Star girls are so friendly, and I love talking to other squads at my competitions. We are not only taught how to cheer, but are bred to be good sports.
usually ncaa football games
i believe that boys only like the cheerleaders not the sport its self. some boys might like it but they are more interested in football
No ,not all, because some colleges don't believe that cheer leading is a sport
Just like any school or professional sport, athletes should be an example to others. Cheerleading is no exception. Cheerleaders for a sport are there to encourage the fans to cheer along with them. They are meant to be leaders and a positive example for others and they are taught that, on and off the field (or cheer mat!)
Cheerleaders do not cheer for all sports, usually just football, basketball, and sometimes wrestling or baseball. Cheerleading is also a sport within itself.

They do what they love and showcase their talents through a sport!
Cheerleading is considered in the modern day to be an incredibly popular sport. This is because cheerleaders are referred to as popular people.
The possessive form of the plural noun 'cheerleaders' is cheerleaders'.example: The cheerleaders' practice is at three today.
If 'they' are the 'cheerleaders', then 'cheerleaders' is the noun antecedent. The antecedent is the noun (or pronoun) that a pronoun replaces.example: The cheerleaders are on the field and they are ready to perform.
First, of all I'm not defending the cheerleaders who dance around at football games. I'm talking about competitive cheerleaders. Competitive cheerleaders go to competitions and perform for judges. The judges judge each team by their tumbling, sharp motions, stunts, etc. Cheerleaders have more injuries than a football player. In two months, I've had a hyperextended knee and a REALLY bloody nose and I'm only a preteen. To be a sport, it must compete against (an) other team(s) with either a judge or a numerical scoring. Cheerleading has both judges and numerical scoring. Cheerleading is not for wimps. Cheerleading is a serious sport that not everybody can do.
