Yes it's quite good considering you just started. But it won't be enough to win the states or even the regionals. You should be aiming for about 12-12.50 seconds. But if you want to win the states you should run at least a 11.95.
I do 14:89 but 15 or 16 seconds is also good
15 seconds would probably be good for a 10 year old, or maybe in the 14s.
i would say a good 100m time for a 10 year old boy is around 16-17secs. I am an 11 year old girl and ran the 100m in 15.9 secs.
well an average time for a 12 year old boy would be around 17 seconds a good time would be 14-16 seconds a realy good time wuld be 12-13 seconds and the 12 year old record is around11.44 so there :)
17 seconds is horrlble u try and get 14-15sec is okay
I'm 12 yrs old and my best time is 13.32 (i'm a girl) and I have competed in races and won overall. I think an average time would be 14 or 15 seconds.
the average time for a 13-14 year old boy to run the 100 meter is about 15 seconds if you are athletic 20 seconds for a non athletic boy
Yes, assuming it was timed by qualified officials or by fully automatic timing.
A good time for an 11-year-old girl is anywhere around 15 and 16 seconds and possibly a little faster for a boy. However, speeds of over 13 seconds can be reached for both genders if you are talking about a very good runner. Most achieve over 20 seconds.
The fastest ever time for a 14 year old boy to run 100m is 10.72 seconds, a boy from Newcastle, England named Thomas Williams also Harry King from Torbay Devon a 12 year old boy ran 100m in 11.27 seconds
i wishs i run 9.01 seconds in the 100m next year and 200m 18.93 seconds next year
For an 8 year old the 100m is not a sprint; it is an endurance event. Any child, male or female, who can out run their fellow children aged 8 will most likely become a very good middle distance runner when older. Basically, sprint times run at this age are meaningless. Taking part and trying to win is all that matters to kids of this age.
