I assume you're asking about a 60-foot youth Baseball field. If so, the time is about average. When coaching that age group, I usually timed the fastest runners at just over 13 seconds and the slowest at just over 15.
13 seconds i believe.
The fastest time rounding the bases in a game of baseball is 13.3 seconds. This record was set by Evar Swanson in 1932.
By running around the bases and touching Home plate just like baseball
By running on bases
So people can have fun swinging a bat and hitting a ball and running around bases. I love baseball and if I get a chance to go to a game I usually go to it.
13 seconds
So you can, if you are fielding, stop the ball from getting past you easier and catch pop flies better, too. And running around the bases if you overrun the bases you can easily get back.
Running the bases is aerobic and swinging the bat is anaerobic
Baserunning in a simple definition would be the way a softball or baseball player literally runs around the bases. Different techniques and stances are used in "base running"
The shortest length around the bases is 360 feet, 90 feet between each of the three bases and home plate. When running out a home run, or any other hit, however, most players do not run in a straight line between the bases, so the actual distance the player runs around the bases would be slightly longer than the 360 feet.
I have coached a lot of youth baseball, and most kids run from home to first in about 3.7 seconds. Faster kids are under 3.5, and slower kids don't break 4 seconds. That's on 60-foot bases.
Each base is 90' apart. Therefore running from home around the bases back to home would be a distance of 90' X 4 = 360'.
