According to the ATP website (refer to the link, below), Pete Sampras played at the French Open as a professional in 1989 (singles and doubles) and 1991-2002 (singles only), inclusive, so it is safe to say that he did not play any of the other years (n.b., professional tennis players' juniors records are not usually published, so, he may have played there prior to his becoming a professional).

Other'' are Milutin MIlankovic also scientist, Vlade Divac, former NBA baskeball player in retirment, Marko Jaric, also former NBA player still playing in Europe and husband of Adriana Lima, other's are Novak Djokovic, #1 tennis player, Ana Ivanovic, former #1 tennis player, Jelena Jankovic, tennis player and Monika Seles also former #1 tennis player.
