it's designed by the pro not the company so its mainly to their specifications, not the standard

No they really aren't bikes are completely differant and tend to have less creativity with tricks. Especially on flat ground. Well they both have wheels so their is one similarity.. um um you can get sponsored for doing both.

Skateboards are used for doing tricks riding or just cruising. Although skateboarding will become so much more it is not just a piece of wood with wheels it is a passion. Good luck skating! Can you file down the wheels on your rollerblades?
Yes. I did and filed down the wheels so much that I had to get replacement wheels. It took me about 300 uses for me to grind down my wheels, so your probably okay unless you use them as much as I do.

Wheels dont make skateboards faster its the bearings that make the wheels move.but if your looking for wheels that wont waste fast than i would gets some bones wheels that what i ride and there the best wheels if used so. BEARINGS they are the things inside the wheels that make them move HOW TO FIND THE FASTEST BEARINGS there is a scale from 1 to 10 the higher the number the faster they go so if i were you i would get some 8's or 9's
