In tennis what is the difference between a baseline player and a volley or serve player?

a baseline player, literally keeps the ball at the baseline. he focuses on keeping hr depth of the ball very deep into the court, near the baseline. this can be a good tactic, or a very bad one.. depending on the situation. and serve and volley, once again literally: serves and sprints to the net. they make the serve so explosive in force, that when they find themselves done with the serving motion, theyre halfway into the court, and have no choice but to play at the net. hope this helped

Volley ball Tricks and guidelines?

im not quite sure if this is what you're looking for but this may help you: a very good drill in volley ball is to get in to a circle with at least 4 other people, some one needs to throw it in high and all you do is pass the ball. when you hit it make sure it goes high and in the middle. if someone passes it and it hits the wall play it off the wall, it is just like playing it off the net. When the ball drops to 5-10 push ups or 10 crunches or more if you so wish. See how many hits you can get with out dropping the ball! GOOD LUCK!!

How many players in the volley ball team?

On a court playing, there must be 6 players. Depending on a team, you can have as many as you want, but it's hard to make substitutions with so many players. If you were a coach you would most likely want 10 players, to be on the safe side in case of injuries.

What is a tennis volley and how is it executed?

A tennis volley player is generally a shot played by a player without letting the ball to bounce. It is usually played near the net or can be played in the middle of tennis court or at the baseline. It is played with an objective to earn point by giving very less time to the opponent also near the net the player has choice to hit the ball at various places in the opponents area. Volley is generally executed with short back swing and punching stroke because when the player is near net he gets very less time to make a longer back swing.
