It depends on the players experience, position, game lenght, and weapon type. A rough estimate would be 1000 for a days play.
It depends on who you are borrowing it from.

No, they won't.
There is no way of really knowing because more and more people start to play paintball each day.
Why do they shoot thirteen times in an independence day
without CO2 or paintballs, you just put the bolt forward. In most guns this is how you de-cock after a day of play, but if you have a regulator, it may store a single shot. If you fire without co2, the gun will not cycle or fire a paintball, it will only go into the barrel. If you fire with no paintballs and co2, you may damage your gun.
Well when they made paintballs in the first place they were for "paintball guns" that farmers would use to mark cows and mark poles and such. In 1981 the very first paintball game happened when a few friends took these guns and played a game. After they had a lot of fun like a lot of paintball players do, after they played one of them named Bob Gurnsey made the first paintball gun and started selling them. After that the guns kept getting newer and better to this day. Now paintballs are made just to play the sport of paintball.
I have several friends that ref at our local paintball field. They make $25 a day, including free food, drinks, co2/copressed air refills, and free admission on days that they're not a ref. They also receive tips when they ref a private party.Information provided by Bullit Paintball team captain: Nolan M.
around 500. 1000 if you give a happy ending.
Have you considered going to a paintball field? A buddy of mine just had his bachelor party at a paintball field and it was a blast. He said he was sick of the cliche bachelor parties and wanted to do something different. We got to run around and shoot each other with paintballs, it was the ultimate guys day. My buddy said he went to a reputable paintball website (see related link below) to decide on a field...you just type in your zip code and they'll show fields near you. Pretty sweet.
Due to the fact that there are numerous paintball companies. And said companies produce anywhere from 5 guns to 500 guns a day, it is almost impossible to count.
the very first paintball gun wasnt "invented" purely for the sport. Two farmers with cattle one day looked at their "markers" they used for marking cattle decided this might be fun to shoot at each other with and have mock battles.... From there it escalated to many people purchasing cattle marking guns for this purpose... from there it escalated to private companies and teams and designated fields to play the sport. the rest after that is history.
