While no true rookie quarterback has ever reached the Super Bowl, two quarterbacks have taken their teams all the way and won Super Bowls their first years as starters. This feat was first accomplished by Kurt Warner of the St. Louis Rams, followed by Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.

Through Super Bowl XLIII, 2 left handed QBs have started and won a Super Bowl.

1) Ken Stabler of the Oakland Raiders was the starting QB in Super Bowl XI, won by the Raiders over the Minnesota Vikings 32-14.
2) Steve Young of the San Francisco 49ers was the starting QB in Super Bowl XXIX, won by the 49ers over the San Diego Chargers 49-26.
