An NHL team is allowed to have 3 goalies on a team. A team is only allowed to have to dressed goalies to start a game.

It does not matter what eye color NHL goalies have. It just matters if they make good save saves. But alot of goalies have brown eyes also players.

For each NHL team there is: 2 Goalies, 6 Defense-men, and 12 Offense-men in a game on the ice and also the bench. But in the NHL there are 6 people allowed on the ice for each team (Including Goalie) 2 Goalies 18 Skaters... Not necessarily having to be broken up into offense or defense as a team can play with only 5 defense men or three full forward lines with an extra skater.
There are over 30 hockey teams in the US and Canada. Each team consists of 18-20 players with two or three goalies.
On a full NHL bench there are 20 players (18 skaters and 2 goalies). Other leagues usually follow this number as well.
