Every serious ballet school should hold classes for ballet. Ballet is very importanat if you want to succeed in dance and get better.

There are many different types... the ones i know of and i use are tap shoes - oxford style jazz shoes - you can get split sole or full sole, you can also get jazz trainers which you can wear for any style ballet shoes- basic ballet shoes, pointe shoes
well, it depends on how good you are. There are many requirement, are you taking at a classical ballet school? how many days a week are you taking ballet? are you on pointe? how long? also, how serious are you about ballet? You have to be strong enough to take many classes a day. I have gone to Boston Ballet SDP for the past two years. I had 4, 5 classes a day, many of them on pointe.

It depends from person to person.
Ballet is a classical dance where many of the steps are done by tip-toeing. Look in the yellow pages of your telephone directory under Ballet to find a school near you. You will be told what to wear for ballet classes by the school director or teacher.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but take a class! there are many ballet classes around, but if you want to really get in to it you would want to take it in big cities.
Keep practicing!! take many classes of ballet until you advance to pointe. Once you are older you will be able to attend conventions and competitions where you will be recognized.
