In professional games, you don't have to sit out at all. In American high school games you must sub out when you receive the card, but your coach can sub you back in as soon as the next legal substitution opportunity. There is no official time limit.

Well it depends on how bad the foul is. If you get a ban or fine he could be up to3-5 games but normally for a red card it is a 1 game ban

If a player gets a red card during the game, they have to leave the game immediately and the team cannot replace him. They have to play with one less player.

Red card suspension?

You can get a red card by getting 2 yellow cards in a game. If you get a 2nd yellow yard that equals a red card that means you have to sit out for the rest of the game oyu receive the card and the next game you are playing. If you get a red card its the same sit out for rest of the game and next game. Hope this helps

In high school soccer how many games do you miss when you get a red card?

It will depend on the situation. If a player is issued 2 yellow cards, which automatically turns into a red card, they only have to sit out of the game they are currently playing. If a player is issused a straight red card or 1 yellow then a red they have to sit out for the current game and the next 1.

What doses it mean referees give this for serious fouls and the player must leave the game of soccer?

A referee will issue a 'Red Card' for a serious offence in football, or if the player has already been shown a yellow card for a previous foul in the game. Two yellow are automatically red carded. A red card results in the player leaving the pitch, and no substitution is allowed. So the team plays on with one man down. There have been cases when an over excited manager, arguing with the referee, has been shown a red card, and has been sent to sit in the terraces, away from the dugout.

What happens if you get a red card in football?

When you get a red card in soccer, you have to leave the field and you are ejected for the rest of the game. Often, depending on the league, you will be suspended for the next game (or a few games) also.

In volleyball how many fouls before the player has to sit out?

Volleyball players do not get "fouls" because it is a non-contact sport; however, if a volleyball player was to interfere with the other team, become mouthy etc. they would receive either a yellow card or a red card with possible dismissal from the match.
