18" off the ground
the net is 7 ft high off the ground
Yes! The ball can but you can't. You can also play it off the net.
yes you can play the ball off the net as long as its not going to be the 4th hit but if it is then play till the whistle blows
The volleyball may touch the net while crossing over it. A volleyball driven into the net may be played within the limits of the 3 team hits, so long as it indeed remains in play (typically: stays in-bounds and off the ground). If the ball rips the net or tears it down the rally must be replayed.
plastic and nylon. some metal where the rope goes through
Well, keep your head in the game. when the ball comes to you, hit it over the net. when you serve, concentrate so it wont go off to the side. this happened and i got really embarrased.
Setting in volleyball is when a player hits the ball over the net in a forward pass motion. The ball is hit off the finger tips and not spiked with the fist.
Yes as long as you don't touch the net. If a ball starts to roll down the net, get low and wait for it below the net. Then, pop it up in the direction of your teammates so they can put it over.
When a person spikes the volleyball hard from the other team (or side), a person from the team opposite of the one who just spiked will block the ball and keep it off their side.
Then you score a point! Any ball can be played off of the net, you are only penelized when you touch the net or tape (depends of you are playing rec or club).
The size of the court for USA Volleyball and FIVB santioned 13U girls is the same as for all other age groups. The only differnence is the height of the net. The court size is 30 feet by 30 feet on each side of the net. The total size of the court is then 60 feet by 30 feet. 10 feet back from the net is the attack line. Off the top of my head, I think the 13U girls net height is 7 feet and 4 inches.
