The age old rule is that if you play 3 times a week, you will neither improve or get worse. Anymore than that, you'll improve; any less, get worse. This is different if you are a child or a teenager because you are naturally getting stronger, faster, and all around more athletic. That alone will help improve your game. But if you want your technical skills to improve in your sport, you must try to play a minimum of 3 times a week.
