egg put simply has protein in it, protein is a key ingredient to muscle recovery not only that but protein is also used as an energy source but that only occurs when there is no fat, carbs left to burn. i would suggest taking vitamin c daily along with protein after workouts if you are trying to build muscle?

note; stimulating you muscles is the way to build muscle, not adding extra protien to your diet. the protein is a little add on to help.
