Not sure, but I know the top 3: Arizona, 24 years (in jeopardy this year) Kansas, 19 years Kentucky, 15 years
For this to be true it would mean they lost to a 16 seed 3 years in a row. Number 1 seeds play 16 seeds in the first round of the NCAA tournament. A 16 seed has NEVER won. Not even once much less 3 consecutive years. Never happened in the history of the tournament. This is a ridiculous question..
Including the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the University of Kentucky has 17 consecutive appearances. Their current streak began with the 1992 tournament, and is currently the third longest active streak behind Arizona (24) and Kansas (18). Duke University is fourth on the list with 13 consecutive appearances.
100 years
A century equals 100 consecutive years. That means: 7 centuries equal 700 consecutive years.
A "score" is 20 consecutive years in time. 3 "score" would be 60 consecutive years.
West Indies won the world cup two consecutive years (1975 and 1979). Australia won the World Cup three consecutive years (1999, 2003, 2007).
bicenarian
Four years with a two consecutive term limit.
Assuming three consecutive years of no more than 52 consecutive beginnings of a week, 143 weeks is equal to 143/52 = 2.75 years.
