For this to be true it would mean they lost to a 16 seed 3 years in a row. Number 1 seeds play 16 seeds in the first round of the NCAA tournament. A 16 seed has NEVER won. Not even once much less 3 consecutive years. Never happened in the history of the tournament.
This is a ridiculous question..
st jude
Never. Along with Army, the Citadel, St. Francis (NY), and William & Mary, they are one of only five teams with fifty years of NCAA Division I play and no NCAA tournament appearances.
The highest scoring player to never play in the NCAA tournament is also the highest scoring college player in NCAA hstory: LSU's Pete Maravich is the all-time leading NCAA Division I scorer with 3,667 points and an average of 44.2 points per game.
Only in the Women's tournament. It has never happened in the mens tournament. I believe that Stanford was the number one seed at the time, but I cannot remember whom upset them
when me and my tournament team win a tournament! (Which possibly be NEVER
0, because it will just be the same so there is no point.
No, but 15 seeds have beat 2 seeds before.
Alaska
it never happened
Never
Alaska Does Not have A division 1 school but just a few years ago South Dakota State University, University of South Dakota and North Dakota State University made the jump to Division 1. Only NDSU out of the three teams has made it to the Big dance.
The University of Central Florida began its football program in 1979. In Division III and Division II, Central Florida never even qualified to play in the post season playoff tournament. As a member of Division I-FCS (formerly Division I-AA), UCF never advanced past the third round of the playoffs. Since joining Division I-FBS (formerly Division I-A) in 1996, Central Florida has rarely put together solid seasons worthy of national recognition. In 2013, Central Florida finished with a program-best record of 12-1, but due to an abysmally weak "strength of schedule," UCF was not seriously considered for a national championship game invitation. UCF has never had an undefeated season.
No, Illinois has never won the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
