Baseball is a traditional, fun game played in the US and many other countries. The players you will need are, (preferably) 9 batters, a catcher behind the batter, a pitcher, a first baseman, a second baseman, a third baseman, a short stop, a left field, a left center, a center fielder, and a right field player, which adds up to 10 players on the field. One batter should go up to home plate with a helmet and bat and the pitcher will either slow pitch, fast pitch or however which way you want to pitch the ball to the batter. Hopefully, the batter will hit it. If the batter does not hit it but swings, it is a strike. Three strikes and the next batter is up and you're OUT. However, there are ways to go to first base and not even touch the ball. If the pitcher throws unruly pitches that are not good to hit, do not swing at all. If they are above your head, DON'T SWING. If they are below your waist, DON'T SWING. If they are behind you or out in the left batter's box, it would be a good idea to not swing. If you don't swing for four pitches that have been pretty bad pitches, then, you have four balls. Four balls means you have to "walk" to your first base. If the batter hits the ball, the players in the field have a chance of getting the batter out. If a field player catches the ball without it touching the ground, then it's an out. If a player gets the ball and it already touched ground, it still has a chance to get the runner out. Say left center gets the ball when it already touched the ground, left center should throw it to the nearest base (second base). If the second baseman catches the ball without it touching the ground and the batter hasn't reached that base yet, the runner is out. The same plan continues until you get a home run or the game is over. Home runs are where a batter hits the ball so far out of the field, it can run all three bases and reach home, and receive a point for their team. The game should have only 2 teams playing against each other. The object is to get every runner on the bases home and score the points! Have fun!
