First, you get the pocket to the desired depth, then you spray it with hairspray. Use a hairdryer to dry it quickly than put the whole head in a freezer for 20-30 mins. this makes the mesh stiff. then leave it for about 1 hour to get used to the warmer temperature, then have fun with your new pocket! Enjoy.
What I usually do is get a Lacrosse ball and wherever i want to make a pocket or the mesh to be soft i just hold the lacrosse ball in my hand and hit there with the ball. or there is a trick called the ball and knife. first you put the ball in the spot where you want the mesh to be soft or to make a pocket and get a metal knife and put the knife over the ball through one of the holes in the head and out the other and the ball and the knife there for a day or so. make sure the knife is pushing the ball down. hopefully this helps
You cannot make soft mesh into hard mesh. They are two different kinds of mesh that must be purchased separately
re-string it with hard mesh.
Monster Mesh and Hard Mesh. Do not use soft mesh cause it can rip easily.
the mesh that is used on a goalie stick
the strings that hold the mesh to the side walls of the stick
no, as far as you are not taping the mesh
marc mesh is softer then hard mesh it also is easier to break in and it is waterproof
it will stiffen up - if you have soft mesh it will turn it to a colored hard mesh
Go to a sports store and by a mesh kit. IN the mesh kit should be directions on how to string a stick
I wouldn't recommend it. I can work if you've got a really soft mesh but you should probably stick to RIT dye.
One thing you shouldn't do if you like a soft mesh, DON'T WET IT!!!!!!
Replace the mesh, shooting strings, sidewall strings, dye the head.
