I think the it in your question is actually referred to hit. So, all you do is put the ball forward of your middle stance and stay down the whole time... make sure you back swing isn't so long and the only thing you need to do is rotate your hips forward as fast as possible and you will see that your golf ball will blast off the ground. Don't even try to use your arms, you have to pretend that you don't have any. If you try to use them then you wont make high loft shots.

What does the loft in golf do for you?

Loft refers to the angle of the golf club's face from the vertical axis. The loft of a club imparts varying degrees of backspin on the ball, making it fly higher and shorter, as in irons and wedges, or lower and longer, as in woods and drivers. The standard sand wedge has a loft ranging from 52 degrees to more than 60; drivers usually have a loft of around 9-10 degrees.

For women and children with slower swing speeds, woods and hybrid clubs allow for more loft, while men with faster swing speeds are open to using distance irons. For a blend, omit longer irons 3 and above, while going with lofted woods. Beginners are also better suited to a mallet-style putter and a large-faced, loft-oriented driver.

Unable to get elevation on all golf shots?

The best way to get elevation on all shots is to mash the ball into the ground by hitting down on it with the club, this produces spin and therefore elevation. This may seem strange when you consider the loft of a 3 iron but it is how the pros play it. Most high handicappers try to sweep their irons but you don't need to, the clubs have been designed with the specific lofts for a reason.
